What is CHZZK?

CHZZK (pronounced “Chijijik”) is Naver’s new streaming platform developed as a Korean alternative after Twitch announced its withdrawal from operating in South Korea. CHZZK completed its closed beta testing in December 2023 and entered open beta testing in January 2024. During this period, users with Twitch accounts are able to transfer them to CHZZK.

Differences Between CHZZK and Twitch

At first glance, CHZZK's platform layout looks almost identical to Twitch on both desktop and mobile versions. This is likely a strategic move to make it easier for Korean users to transition before CHZZK’s official launch.

However, CHZZK offers several features that Twitch does not. These include 1080p full HD streaming resolution and integration with Naver — Korea’s leading search engine and one of the top 10 search engines globally. This integration gives CHZZK a community edge and additional features compared to other platforms.

If you're a YouTube or Twitch streamer looking to reach a global audience — especially with the rising demand for Korean streaming content — CHZZK may be worth exploring.
